Firehouse Subs

Firehouse Restaurant Group, doing business as Firehouse Subs, is a privately-held sandwich shop franchise. Founded in 1994 by Chris and Robin Sorensen, Firehouse Subs is headquartered in Jacksonville, Florida. The company's name comes from the founders' background as firefighters who gained a reputation as good cooks in the fire station. In 2005, Firehouse Subs launched their Public Safety Foundation dedicated to improving the equipment, education, and funding of public safety entities such as fire stations. Firehouse Subs' menu includes hot and cold subs, salads, drinks, and sides (chili, soups, chips, etc.).
